In 2023, my husband and I packed up our lives in India and moved to Canada with our two angels, Karvee and Kiara. Like every immigrant family, we came with hopeful hearts, a bit of fear, and big dreams. We both had corporate jobs, but deep down, we longed to create something of our own—something rooted in purpose and love.

But life kept getting in the way—until a small problem sparked a big idea.

After settling into our home, I was searching for softness, comfort, and a better night’s sleep for my family. Everything I found was either synthetic, scratchy, or wildly overpriced. I wasn’t just shopping—I was searching for relief, for softness, for peace of mind.

That’s when a memory from home resurfaced: the natural comfort of Indian handblock-printed cotton. Luxuriously soft, hypoallergenic, and temperature-regulating, these beautiful sheets had once been a staple in our lives. Why couldn’t they be here too?

And so—after years of talking, worrying, and waiting—Kiavi Home and Living was born.
Named after our two daughters, every piece we create is crafted with care, family, and tradition in mind. We bring centuries-old Indian artistry to modern Canadian homes, in a way that feels both familiar and fresh.
